The QRS28 is a small, lightweight, two-axis MEMS rate sensoroffering exceptional performance at a very attractive price. The sensor provides a simple DC-DC operation using two of EMCORE’s quartz rate sensors. The instrument is contained within a hermetically sealed, stainless steel cylinder measuring 1.05”[26.7 mm] x 0.71” [18.0 mm] diameter.

DESCRIPTION

With one of industry’s smallest form factors, QRS-28 couples two of our robust quartz MEMS rate sensors for unprecedented capabilities in wide bandwidth, repeatable bias performance over temperature, and ruggedness in most environments. It is especially suited for demanding applications which require reliable performance where small size and low power consumption is required, such as missile seeker gimbal stabilization – all while in a low cost design that is also ideally suited for high volume commercial applications.
